As consumers are being increasingly concerned about the impact of packaging on the environment, we encourage the use or the Metal Recycles Forever mark.
By using it, a brand demonstrates to consumers that it has chosen a packaging material that is fully able to participate in the circular economy.
The logo -for use on and off-pack- is part of a behaviour change campaign from Metal Packaging Europe to help consumers better understand the key role they have to play in keeping metal in the material loop by recycling their empty packaging.
Recycling Logo
If your brand or organisation would like to participate in the campaign, and obtain a license, please find the MRF files and accompanying visual identity guideline documents here.
The Metal Recycled Forever mark is trademarked and the exclusive property of Metal Packaging Europe.
We can print the mark as metal substrate with coloured text.
See examples below:
The mark is available in 17 different languages. Here are the translations from some of our locations across Europe:
More information can be found at:

The MRF mark must not be modified in any way, such as removing elements or truncating.
QR Codes
QR Codes can be printed on our cans to take consumers directly to your website or link to something else such as a video.
We treat this as a graphic, so to ensure good readability of the QR code we need the requirements listed below:P
• Preferably black squares on a white background.
• Other dark colours can be used, confirm with your local graphics contact.
• Minimum square size is 0.44mm x 0.44mm.
Due to the fact we have no control over the quality of the consumer’s equipment (especially the smartphone and installed software), we cannot guarantee the reading on every scanning device.
