AMP donates supplies to school in Brazil

Our South American team made a large donation of school supplies through local NGOs Fênix and Guri na Roça in the city of Jacareí, Brazil. Sustainability team members Rodrigo Tomaz, Mariane Luz and Jhenyffer Santos, and Quality team member Priscila Carvalho, managed the logistics of delivering 6,500 items to 421 children.

Each child received a backpack filled with age-appropriate supplies, including notebooks, pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener, ruler and special paper for artwork.

Rodrigo Tomaz was delighted to have the opportunity to help deliver the backpacks. “We were made very welcome by the NGO workers, and they were quite moved to see that we had customised the backpacks for each age group.” He continued, “It’s gestures like these that make all the difference. I cannot overstate the importance of employee engagement in these actions – they are so heart-warming and rewarding!”

We hope to positively impact the lives of the children in the Jacareí community, offering better opportunities and learning tools.
