Zug colleagues visit local nursery

Published December 17, 2024

Colleagues from our Zug, Switzerland office visited the Visoparents Foundation nursery school before the festive break. The visit enabled them to learn more about the foundation’s work and to take part in a crafting session with the children in the nursery. The Visoparents Foundation celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023, having started up in 1963 to serve blind children. They later expanded to become a private school for physically and mentally disabled children and now provide 150 nursery school places and 32 school spaces up to second grade across three locations in Switzerland.

The nursery school integrates children with and without disabilities so that every child can develop freely, make friends and thrive in a protected environment. During their visit, our Zug colleagues helped the nursery children decorate 40 of our beverage cans, leaving an additional 50 cans behind them to be decorated with another group of children the following week.
