Giving back to our communities

Many of Ardagh’s employees have a passion for helping others in their local communities. Community spirit is encouraged at Ardagh through a variety of acts such as volunteering and charitable donations to support people in need in the communities in which we operate.

We were inspired by our people and in 2020 created a multimillion-dollar annual fund to support people in need in our local communities. The fund was allocated to charities, nominated by our people that provide emergency relief in our local communities.

We supported organisations including The Red Cross, UNICEF, The Samaritans, healthcare facilities, food banks, homeless shelters, hospices and many more. For many of our people, Covid-19 inspired and re-shaped the way we support and get involved in our local communities. At Ardagh, we intend to continue these community-led initiatives to help our communities thrive.
